Easy Furikake Chex Mix Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal

  • 2 cups Corn Chex cereal

  • 1 cup pretzels or rice crackers

  • ½ cup mixed nuts (optional)

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari

  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey

  • 2–3 tbsp furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine cereals, pretzels, and nuts.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, soy sauce, and sugar until smooth.

  4. Pour the mixture over the cereal and toss well to coat evenly.

  5. Spread in an even layer on the baking sheet and sprinkle with furikake.

  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

  7. Let cool completely before serving — it will get extra crunchy as it cools.
